Privacy
Last updated: this page reflects how the tool currently works — not a legal boilerplate.
Your photos stay on your device
When you upload a before or after photo (or a logo), it is loaded directly into your browser and never sent to a server as part of creating, editing, or exporting your image or video. All cropping, alignment, labelling, branding and rendering happens locally using your browser's built-in Canvas and video recording APIs. When you click Download, the file is generated on your device and saved directly from your browser — it does not pass through Before & After Maker's servers.
The one exception: website embeds
The optional "embed on your website" feature is different. Because Before & After Maker doesn't have image hosting or an account system, the embeddable slider widget works by referencing image URLs you provide — images you've already hosted on your own website or image host. Those images are loaded directly from wherever you host them by the visitor's browser; Before & After Maker does not store, proxy, or see them.
Analytics
Google Analytics (GA4) is built into this site's code but is not currently active — no measurement ID is configured, so no analytics events are sent at this time. If it's enabled in the future, analytics events will track anonymous usage patterns (such as which layout or format was chosen) and will never include your photo content, file names, or any data representing your images.
Advertising
Display advertising (Google AdSense) is not currently active on this site. If enabled in the future, ads will only appear in clearly separated positions that never overlap the editor or interrupt your work.
Fonts and third-party requests
This site uses your device's built-in system fonts rather than loading fonts from a third-party service, so visiting this site does not send a request to any external font provider.
Data retention
Because your photos are never uploaded, there is nothing for Before & After Maker to retain or delete on your behalf. Closing or refreshing your browser tab clears any photos you had loaded into the tool.
